VEN Engineering was a lead sponsor for the competition EBEC (European BEST Engineering Competition) organized by BEST Patras, in collaboration with the University of Patras and had a theme of zero waste and cyclical economy. BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) is a non-profit student organisation, that aims to enhance diversity through student development.
As part of our collaboration, the Facilities Manager of VEN Engineering, Mr. Vasileios Mermigkas, had the pleasure to speak to the groups of students competing, for our company, its services, and the prospects of the waste management industry.
The winner team passionately showed inventiveness and leadership qualities in creating a society with solutions for waste management, wastewater management, energy, and food production, always keeping in mind the protection of the Environment.
As always, in VEN Engineering, we are proud to support Greek university students in their efforts to build and grow developing ideas through such educational initiatives in the broader European network.
