VEN operates a Refuse Derived Fuel & Solid Recovered Fuel (RDF/SRF) Production Facility, which is located South-West of the city of Athens. The company is responsible for the handling of the port and vessel waste, as well as Commercial and Industrial (C&I) waste.
Our SRF Production Facility consists of a storage area, production area and a fully – equipped laboratory. Our intention is to further optimize and modernize its operation, as well as increase and improve the production of RDF. VEN is upgrading the existing installation, through the purchase of new, state-of-the-art equipment, which is compatible with the type and origin of the infeed materials, providing flexibility for a throughput increase.
